Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law is a private law school located in New York City. The law school was founded in 1976 and is named after Supreme Court Justice Benjamin N. Cardozo, who served on the court from 1932 to 1938. Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law offers a variety of tuition and scholarship options to assist students in meeting the cost of their legal education. Students enrolled in the full-time or part-time J.D. program may be eligible for merit-based scholarships, need-based grants, and loan programs. Merit-based scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and are renewable for up to three years as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress. Need-based grants are available through federal and state sources, including the Federal Pell Grant Program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), and other private sources. In addition, Cardozo offers loan programs such as Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized) and private loans to help cover costs associated with attending law school.
