Tuition & Scholarships: University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill

The University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill School of Law offers a range of tuition and scholarship options to help students finance their legal education. Tuition for the 2020-2021 academic year is $25,858 for in-state students and $51,622 for out-of-state students. In addition to standard tuition, the school also offers an optional Technology Fee, which is $1,000 per academic year. The school also offers several scholarship opportunities to help defray tuition costs. These scholarships include merit scholarships, awards for public service and leadership, as well as need-based grants. The Merit Scholarship program provides awards ranging from $5,000 to full tuition depending on academic achievement and overall qualifications.
