Skin Problems In Pregnancy–Interview Dr. Fabianne

I suffered a lot with stains on the face in pregnancy and I have gotten a lot worse in the phase of breastfeeding. I took a super careful and using daily protector 90, hat, and no sun, spotted! Of course you have a face with lots of freckles, they increased and joined.

I could only really get the most effective treatment after you stop breastfeeding. And today after some peelings and 2 laser sessions, I was able to improve my skin.

My “Savior” was Dr. Fabianne today will explain all these changes that can occur during pregnancy, how to avoid them, and tips of creams that can buy without contraindication.

She starts the interview telling a little of how she looked after in their 2 pregnancies.

You’re the mother of 2 children, tell we like took care during pregnancy.

I had 2 very similar pregnancies wearing maternity lingerie, even the 3 months I was with the skin and hair more oily and managed this with use of products for oily skin, skin cleansing and peeling of Crystal.

I used a lot of sunscreen and creams with viamina C, salicylic acid, kojico, to improve oil and prevent blemishes. Hidratava thoroughly my body skin and so didn’t have stretch marks, took care not to gain weight also what contributed to it. To avoid swelling was doing lymphatic drainage 2 x a week and used throughout pregnancy elastic stockings–that were recommended by my Sigvaris. To circumvent the nausea that chased me during the first 3 months I made a balanced diet prepared by a nutritionist rich in fruits, vegetables and whole foods, fracionando my meals and eating every 3 hours during the period stood at consutorio. Drank a lot of water too.

Did physical activity throughout pregnancy and the end was doing various exercises recommended by my OB to get my pelvis to perform natural childbirth. The first delivery was longer went into labor the 15 hours because my water broke and Felipe was born at midnight, was super quiet, I was assisted at all times by my obstetrician and your team was great, when the contractions got more intense was anesthetized so that I could see you walking down the aisle of the birth center. The birth was beautiful, exciting, my husband gave the first bath assisted by pediatricians that accompanies my kids until now.

The labor of Beatrice was faster started 19 hours and she was born 1 hour in the morning, also ran very well, I had another wonderful natural childbirth. I breastfed my 2 children for 6 months, and as I returned to the Office took milk but was super cool. Kept diet, drainage and physical activity that I got back quickly to my body. During the post partum supplementation with vitamins also did to strengthen hair to minimize the fall and natural in this period.

Be mae and a privilege, something divine, I can’t imagine being without them!
Many women complain of spots on my face that arise in pregnancy. What are these spots and what to do to prevent and treat?
Pregnant woman requires care to avoid or at least mitigate the pigmentation disorders that occur in this period.
About 90% of pregnant women will present and these are caused by the hormonal changes.
The most frequent alteraoes are; increased pigmentation of the nipples, external genitalia, underarms, face inner thigh, abdomen that may be accompanied by Hypertrichosis (increased by) who come back to the normal 6 to 12 weeks after delivery. At the end of the pregnancy good part regresses espontâneamanete over a period of 3 to 6 months. This blackout has no way to be avoided.

Melasma-Brown stain that occurs in the central region of the face and upper lip, and more common your appearance occur from the second trimester of pregnancy, due to increased levels of estrogen and progesterone, affects 50 to 70% of pregnant women may have started in this period or be exacerbated during pregnancy.

What can be done and used to prevent stains or even help not get worse?
To avoid the use of recommended photoprotectors with FPS with UVA/UVB protection with SPF 30, to say the least, that should be applied 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and reapplied several times throughout the day even on cloudy days. Use with azelaic acid bleaching night, kojico acid and fitico, vitamin C are allowed. Stop using creams with retinoico acid, tretinoina, adapalene and hydroquinone!

Because the skin is more oily and acne in pregnancy?
Pregnant women who have never had pimples may present, this usually occurs in the first trimester because the increase in hormone levels, mainly progesterone, stimulate the sebaceous glands and leave the skin more oily and with blackheads and pimples. The behavior of the sebaceous glands is unpredictable. To treat use soaps, astringents and oil free moisturizers, attention with the makeup that is too oily can worsen the picture, night creams with acido salicilico are allowed and help control oil. Refer also to skin cleansing and peeling of Crystal that is allowed and promotes the removal of dead skin cells, stimulates the collagen and leaves the skin more receptive to influence of the creams.

Another nuisance in this period and a redness that can affect nose and cheeks that occurs by increase blood flow stimulated by increased levels of estrogen that lead to greater formation of telangectasias (spider veins) which causes redness and swelling at the site (common to see people with the nose swollen and red) what many call rosacea. This framework is also unpredictable and regresses after 6 to 7 weeks of childbirth.

What changes can occur in the hair?
Hair generally are bulky and beautiful. The growth is intense because there is a longer growth phase (called anagena) mainly in the third quarter. The wires in the fall (telogena) fall to 10% in the second and third quarter and increases to 30% after delivery, which generates the Efluvio telogeno which is a normal hair loss which occurs after 3 to 4 months after delivery. However, we recommend that you follow this phase and if possible make use of vitamins to ease the excessive loss of hair especially those women with a history of female pattern baldness in the family.

One of the greatest fears of pregnant women are stretch marks. How to take care to avoid and what to do if they appear?
Usually appear from the 24 week of gestation (6 and 7 month). His appearance is also related to hormonal changes and sharp gain of weight, and an important factor and the genetics of the patient. It is essential to carry out an intensive moisturizing with use of glicerinados soaps for the bath, bath oil before the final rinse, and moisturizing body 2 x a day, apply mainly around the breasts (do not apply on the nipples), abdomen, side of the abdomen, thighs and inner hip.
Case come out stretch marks during pregnancy seek a dermatologist and begin treatment with acids suitable for this phase. After delivery you can associate the laser which guarantees an excellent result in the recent streaks (red).
