The Kingdom of Denmark, the southernmost part of Scandinavia, consisting of the Jutland Peninsula and more than four hundred islands and the autonomous Greenland and Faroe Islands, is a stable constitutional monarchy with a deeply rooted democratic system and a strong Lutheran community spirit, reflected in the philosophy of national well-being. According to allcountrylist, although the queen is formally the head of the country, the executive power is in the hands of the elected government and the legislative power is ensured by the unicameral parliament (Folketinget). An irreplaceable role is played by self-governing units (Communes), which are in charge of, for example, health care or local development. Denmark is firmly anchored in Euro-Atlantic structures, which for it represent the backbone of regional security and stability. It is a founding member of the North Atlantic Alliance and since 1973 also a member of the European Union, albeit with negotiated exceptions from the application of EU community law. Denmark boasts a strong and efficient economy that benefits from openness to innovative solutions. In them, Denmark often sets a European and global trend. Although more than half of foreign trade is with EU countries, Denmark as a major exporter of food and agricultural products covers the global market. Denmark is also a significant foreign investor. The economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic affected the Danish economy, but the available statistical data and forecasts indicate that the restart of the economy was successful and its curve returned to the phase of gradual growth. Danes are solid business partners, they care about their good reputation. They are straightforward and assertive in business negotiations. Negotiations with potential Danish partners do not fundamentally differ from Czech customs.
