Two new born at home Panasonic to debut: ToughPad A1 and B1 are tablet dedicated to professional and offer robustness, security and connectivity for “mobile workers” who work outdoors and in extreme conditions.
The first is a tablet with 10 sec with a dual-core cpu 1 GHz, 1 GB, Marvell RAM, display with resolution 1024 × 768 4:3, anti-glare and stylus-ready features, 16 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD, WiMAX and LTE connectivity and battery (removable) can offer a range of ben 10 hours.
The B1 has a smaller display 7 “, scheduled for the second half of 2012, we don’t know much, both are compliant with standards MIL-STD 810G can withstand shock, dust and water.

What makes Toughpad different?
The Panasonic Toughpad have been designed, from the very first day, as tools dedicated to the professional world and, as such, they are very different from the consumer tablet.
Robustness and reliability
The new family Toughpad has been designed to meet the same standards of reliability of the range Panasonic Toughbooks. The Toughpad FZ-A1, tested in accordance with MIL-STD-810G, withstands drops from 120 cm and ensures maximum resistance to water and dust with a protection degree IP65. The Toughpad FZ-A1 is also resistant to extreme temperatures, which makes it reliable in every situation.
The CPU present in Toughpad FZ-A1 incorporates a processor dedicated to data security and tamper-proof, thus making available the core CPU for other tasks. The security core CPU takes care of the encryption software and data, offers an improved VPN, authentication, device management and secure startup. This advanced level of security will bring the Toughpad family of devices to be compliant with FIPS 140-2.
The Toughpad FZ-A1 offers serial 2.1 + EDR Bluetooth ® v, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi and GPS and 3 g mobile broadband technology electives – with download speeds of up to 21 MB/s.
